Overview
BluePeak Locksmith is a 24/7 mobile locksmith serving automotive, residential, and commercial clients. The business needed a website that could do two things at once: convert urgent, high-intent visitors (someone locked out of their car right now) and rank for a long tail of local service searches.
I designed and developed the site in WordPress using Elementor Pro and Advanced Custom Fields, with a component-driven template architecture built for scale.
The approach
Rather than building each page individually, I built the site as a system. A global header and footer, a reusable “Service Page” master template, and a modular Service Cards block drive the entire site. New service pages inherit the layout, spacing, and brand styling automatically, so adding a new service or a new city landing page is a content task rather than a development task.
The design uses a deep navy and amber palette with a cream base, paired with a three-font system (Bricolage Grotesque for headings, Geist for body, JetBrains Mono for UI accents) wired into Elementor’s Global Colors and Global Typography. Changing a brand color updates the entire site from one place.
Conversion focus
Because locksmith traffic is emergency traffic, every section is built to shorten the path to contact:
- Persistent click-to-call buttons with
tel:links across all breakpoints - A “Request a technician / 60-second free estimate” lead form in the hero
- Bento-style service grid where each card routes to its own dedicated service page
- Trust signals (years of service, licensing, coverage area) placed above the fold
- Embedded Google Maps service-area block
SEO and local search
- Dedicated, individually optimized landing pages for each core service: Car Locksmith, Commercial Locksmith, Key Fob Programming, and a make-specific BMW Key Fob page
- Clean, keyword-aligned URL slugs and page titles
- FAQ accordions with FAQ schema enabled for rich-result eligibility
- Semantic heading hierarchy (proper H1/H2/H3 structure) throughout
- Descriptive alt text and accessible, keyboard-navigable accordion components
Maintainability
The template architecture was deliberately built to be location-agnostic. When the business later needed to shift its service area to a different metro, the entire site (page copy, headings, titles, URLs, internal links, and structured data) was rebranded from the existing template system without a rebuild.
